Responsibilities

• Design and implement automation solutions to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and define project requirements.
• Maintain and upgrade existing automated systems to ensure continuous performance improvement.
• Analyze system performance data and develop strategies to optimize system reliability and functionality.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation processes and systems.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ensure minimal downtime of automated processes.
• Conduct training sessions for team members to enhance their understanding of automation systems.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to automation and apply knowledge to current projects.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all automation projects.
• Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve current automation capabilities.
• Develop project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets, for automation initiatives.
• Lead the testing and validation of automated solutions to ensure they meet project specifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation systems design and implementation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Knowledge of industrial automation tools such as PLCs, SCADA, and HMI systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
• Certified Automation Professional (CAP) certification is desirable but not mandatory.
