They’re expanding their offshore design team after successful partnerships and focus on intricate, artistic landscape projects that go far beyond basic geometric designs.

Job Description:

You’ll join a dynamic Australian landscape design team that values both technical precision and creative excellence. This role offers the perfect blend of artistic expression and technical expertise, where you’ll contribute to beautiful, intricate outdoor spaces while working with industry-leading 3D design software. You’ll be an integral part of streamlining their design process and supporting their growing operations with direct collaboration during overlapping work hours.

Job Highlights

• Hourly Rate: USD 6.23, the equivalent in your local currency
• Paid Hours per Week: 40
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM Perth, WA, including a 30-minute paid break
• Work Arrangement: Work from home
• Contract: Independent Contractor

Side note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and an “Independent Contractor” arrangement, the candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed 3D landscape designs using SketchUp for high-end residential and commercial projects
• Produce stunning renders and fly-through animations to bring designs to life
• Collaborate directly with the Perth-based design team during overlapping business hours
• Develop intricate, artistic landscape concepts that exceed standard geometric approaches
• Support the streamlining of design workflows and processes
• Work with construction drawings and specifications to ensure design feasibility
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail for complex, multi-layered landscape projects
• Contribute to expanding design capacity for a growing landscape construction business

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of landscape design experience with a strong portfolio
• Advanced proficiency in SketchUp (mandatory requirement)
• Experience with Lumion rendering software (highly preferred for animations and renders)
• Understanding of construction methodology and building processes
• Strong artistic flair and creative design capabilities
• Exceptional attention to detail for intricate, complex design work
• Bonus if you have experience with Australian construction methods or standards
• It helps if you have an architectural background or similar construction-focused experience.
