Chess Coach

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chess Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chess, excellent communication skills, and a passion for teaching and mentoring students of varying skill levels. As a Chess Coach, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging chess lessons, organizing tournaments, and fostering a love for the game in our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Instruction and Training:
• Develop and implement chess curricula for beginners to advanced players.
• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions.
• Provide personalized feedback and strategies to improve students skills.
• Use a variety of instructional methods to cater to different learning styles.
• Program Development:
• Design training programs and practice schedules.
• Organize and oversee chess clubs and extracurricular activities.
• Plan and coordinate chess tournaments and events, including internal competitions and inter-school match.

• Education and Certification:
• A bachelor’s degree in Education, Physical Education, or a related field is preferred.
• Certification from a recognized chess federation (e.g., US Chess Federation, FIDE) is highly desirable.
