Product Manager Digital Customer Journeys

Our client, a global strategy consulting firm is supporting a leading life insurance client as part of a multi-year digital transformation programme focused on modernising customer service and distribution journeys.

Within this broader initiative, the firm is seeking a Product Management Consultant to own and drive specific modules related to the customer app and digital branch experience. The consultant will play a key role in shaping end-to-end customer journeys, translating business needs into clear product and process designs, and aligning stakeholders across business and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Reimagine and design customer service journeys across channels, including branch (offline) and app-based self-service.

- Assess current-state processes (front-end and back-end), identify gaps, and support to-be process design, including business logic.

- Draft clear user stories and functional requirements for journey and product enhancements.

- Collaborate closely with UX designers and technology architects to ensure feasibility and alignment.

- Work with business, IT, and system integrator teams to walkthrough designs, address queries, and drive sign-off.

- Support competitive benchmarking to inform design and prioritisation decisions.

Your Background:

- 8+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or process / journey design roles.

- Strong exposure to digital initiatives within BFSI.

- Insurance experience preferred (life insurance ideal; health or general insurance also acceptable).

- Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and present in structured forums.

- Experience collaborating across business, UX, and technology teams.

- MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.
