Mechanical designers focus on transformer component designs Bushing & Tap changer in coordination with global Hitachi Energy factory based on the marketing & purchase order requirement. Mechanical Design of transformer component designs will be responsible for the Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing drawings, Bills of materials, etc.

The successful candidate will be the part of an International Design and Engineering Team heavily specialized in transformer components design covering a US factory.
Responsible for the design and development of power transformer components.
Responsible for the Preparation of Customer documents, Manufacturing drawings, Bills of materials, etc.
Coordinating his/her design activities within a worldwide factory network.
Participation in internal design concept reviews.

Your Background
Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
4 - 8 years of experience working in Mechanical design for the Power transformer manufacturing industry according to international standards like IEC, DIN, IEEE, and EN.
Having experience in 2D drawing software like AutoCAD and any 3D software – Creo is considered as an advantage.
Good knowledge of Material, Machining, Casting, and problem-solving attitude to solve manufacturing issues.
Experience with Microsoft Office and tools.
A team player, open with information, and willingly contributes to team discussions with an ability to work without supervision when required.
Quick learner with the ability to master new areas.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
