About The Property

A premium lifestyle destination set within one of North Indias most iconic hill stations, blending colonial heritage, Himalayan charm, and contemporary hospitality. The property features 40 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, including Superior Rooms, Deluxe Rooms and Suites, offering a refined retreat for upscale leisure travellers, families, and boutique explorers.

The hotel positions its culinary offering as the regions first Michelin-aspiring destination, with seasonal tasting menus and global comfort classics celebrating local terroir alongside internationally curated cuisine. Wellness facilities include a heated swimming pool, dedicated wellness rooms, and conference areas, complemented by curated experiences that connect guests with Shimlas heritage architecture, vibrant promenades, mountain lifestyle, and natural surroundings. The property is also positioned as a leading venue for luxury destination weddings in the region.

About The Role

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure alignment with brand standards.
• Manage operational departments to ensure efficiency and a seamless guest experience.
• Support pre-opening readiness, including recruitment, SOP implementation, and operational setup.
• Handle VIP arrivals, guest feedback, and complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Monitor inventory, procurement, and vendor relationships to control costs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and local regulatory standards.
• Coordinate maintenance and facility operations to ensure functionality and safety.
• Drive operational performance, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.
• Support revenue growth through operational planning, upselling, and coordination with Sales and Revenue teams.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Lead, train, and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Manage staff scheduling and departmental coverage.
  
  

• Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry; pre-opening experience is a plus.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Good understanding of hotel operations and service standards.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in hotel systems and Microsoft Office is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of additional regional Indian languages is an advantage.
