The Role

Are you ready to embark on a technical adventure and become a hero to our external and internal users? As Technical Support at Kyndryl, youll be part of an elite team that provides exceptional technical assistance, enabling our clients to achieve their desired business outcomes.

Youll be a troubleshooter extraordinaire, diagnosing and repairing complex equipment, software, and systems with ease. Nothing will be too challenging for you to solve as you respond to escalated issues, report critical design flaws, reliability and maintenance problems, and bugs.

Youll be the go-to person for our customers who require assistance with highly technical or sophisticated products, as well as for customer installations and training. With your passion for technology, youll provide world-class support that exceeds customer expectations.

As Technical Support, youll perform varying degrees of problem determination and resolution of desktop hardware and software issues using your technical expertise and available resources to ensure that our customers issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. Youll also have the opportunity to perform installs, moves, adds, and changes (IMAC) activities, as well as data backup and restore on certain accounts for clients, ensuring that all related administrative duties are completed within Service Level Agreement objectives.

You will develop a deep understanding of the local and regional infrastructure, as well as key contacts in other competencies, which will enable you to ensure that the proper team is aware of – and taking action on the problem.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Having 5+ years of exp in Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets. This includes Inventory and Tracking
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory.
  • Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
  • Track asset attributes such as state, sub-state, assigned user, and location.
  • Monitor asset condition and useful life using performance curves.
  • Ensure asset tagging and labeling as per standards.
  • Procurement and Deployment
  • Validate receipt of new consignments with delivery documentation.
  • Coordinate installation, movement, and deployment of assets.
  • Ensure proper documentation and logistics for intra-center asset movement.
  • Confirm asset deployment with end users and update records accordingly.
  • Storage and Maintenance
  • Manage receipt, storage, and issuance of assets/accessories/spares.
  • Stack and identify working/non-working assets in stores.
  • Replace non-functional assets under warranty/AMC in a timely manner.
  • Publish regular inventory reports and dashboards.
  • Compliance and Reporting
  • Track warranty/AMC expirations and notify stakeholders.
  • Adhere to asset disposal/retirement processes with proper documentation.
  • Maintain audit trails and compliance records.
  • Publish monthly SLA reports and dashboards for asset management.
  • Software Asset Management
  • Ensure software license compliance and audit readiness.
  • Track software installations and license allocations.
  • Report unauthorized software and ensure uninstallation.
  • Operational Excellence

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Support transformation initiatives and automation adoption.
  • Manage assets under various work models (WFH, WFO, Flexi).
  • Coordinate with OEMs for repairs and replacements.
  • Ensure timely updates in asset management tools.
  • Security and Data Handling
  • Enforce controls for hardware removal from premises.
  • Ensure secure data removal from decommissioned hardware.
  • Maintain inventory visibility and control over all IT hardware assets
