We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Control I to join our team. This role is located in Pune.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Identify, analyze, monitor, and minimize the most complex areas of control testing, control and risk education, and operational and risk support activities to the business.
Manage projects to adjust or create controls required to meet regulatory and corporate expectations.
Lead control and risk management testing and reporting, including Error / Near Miss analyses.
Conduct analyses and lead projects independently to improve internal controls that comply with regulations and corporate standards.
Ensure existing control and business recovery practices and procedures are documented and understood by the business.
Collaborate with the business to understand current controls minimizing risk and assist in designing and delivering risk management training programs.
Review documentation for evidence of successful and efficient performance of control and business recovery procedures.
Identify deficiencies in data systems and create processes to improve defenses.
Assist in analyzing technology and market trends to determine potential risks and address them across businesses.
May supervise the work of junior control professionals.
Contribute to the achievement of area objectives, support multiple complex projects, and own project timelines.
Provide input into the development of controls and protocols for the function.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required; advanced degree preferred.
5-7 years of total work experience preferred.
Experience in the securities or financial services industry is preferred.
People leadership experience is a plus.
