Key Responsibilities
Creating and maintaining both standard and custom financial reports and dashboards using Workdays reporting tools (e.g., Report Writer, Composite Reports, Matrix Reports, Worksheets, Workday Prism).
Working with finance and accounting teams to understand their reporting needs and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data within Workday reports.
Monitoring report performance, identifying and resolving any issues, and optimizing reports for efficiency.
Providing support and training to end-users on Workday reporting tools and capabilities.
Assisting with Workday system updates, testing, and change management as it relates to reporting.
Collaborating with Workday system administrators, other stakeholders, and cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
Managing the Workday Finance report catalog, including version control, naming conventions, calculated field libraries, and security access.
Maintaining a deep understanding of Workdays data model, corporate system architecture, interfaces, reporting, and data loading procedures.
Providing Workday and subject matter expertise to business process owners and colleagues.
Staying updated on Workday functionality, training, and best practice.
Performing impact assessments for Workday upgrades and cross application enhancements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, accounting or a related field.
Four or more years of combined experience in a reporting and analytics role supporting Workday Core Financials, Expenses, Procurement, and Prism.
High proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Composite Reports, Dashboards, and Worksheets.
Workday certifications or additional experience supporting other Workday Products outside of a reporting & analytics role will distinguish you as a standout candidate.
Preferred experience with a shared Workday HCM environment.
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business users and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders.
