Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Consultant – MicroStrategy to join our team. This role requires an expert-level understanding of MicroStrategy development, along with strong SQL and RDBMS expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing MicroStrategy applications while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise data systems.

Key Responsibilities

• MicroStrategy Development – Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy application objects, including metrics, filters, templates, reports, and dossiers.
• Advanced Reporting Capabilities – Implement advanced functionalities such as level metrics, consolidations, custom groups, free-form SQL reports, and pass-through functions.
• SQL & Database Management – Utilize strong SQL and RDBMS skills to design and optimize data models for efficient reporting and analytics.
• Project Setup & Management – Handle project creation, duplication, and configuration, including ODBC connections and database instance setup.
• Object Migration & Security – Perform object migration using Object Manager or migration packages, while managing users, security groups, and security roles.
• Performance Optimization – Manage I-Cubes, caches, and troubleshoot performance issues for optimized system efficiency.
• Automation & Scheduling – Configure schedules, access controls, and various subscription types to streamline reporting and data refresh processes.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in MicroStrategy development, including hands-on experience with SQL and RDBMS.
  
  

• Expertise in MicroStrategy BI tools.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and RDBMS (Data Modeling).
• Familiarity with Power BI for additional data visualization capabilities (preferred but not mandatory).
