Release Engineer – PDM Documentation

Your Role

As a Release Management Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless product data governance, controlled release processes, and accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) management within the automotive domain. You will work closely with cross‑functional engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to manage product configurations, execute change processes, maintain variant data, and ensure product documentation accuracy across the lifecycle.

In this role, you will:

• Manage end‑to‑end Product Data Management (PDM) activities with a strong focus on release workflows and governance.
• Handle complex Variant Matrix structures and ensure accurate creation, update, and validation of Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Drive and support engineering Change Management processes, including change requests, change notices, and documentation updates.
• Maintain and manage automotive‑specific BOMs, ensuring correctness, completeness, and compliance with program requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure timely release of product data.
• Utilize PLM tools (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter) for metadata management, product structure creation, workflow routing, and release approvals.
• Work with CAD data generated in NX, ensuring proper association with product structures and release processes.
• Monitor multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and deliver with high accuracy in fast‑paced environments.
• Communicate clearly and professionally in English with global stakeholders through documentation, emails, and meetings.
• Quickly adapt to new tools, processes, and technical requirements with strong learning agility.
  
  

Your Profile

• Release Management profile required.
• Proficient in Product Data Management, particularly in release activities
• Expert in managing Variant Matrix & Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Solid understanding of Change Management processes
• Hands-on experience with BOM management specific to automotive components Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently
• Strong command of PLM software tools (e.g. Siemens Teamcenter)
• Knowhow of CAD tool e.g. NX
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Quick learner with a strong grasping ability
