Job Description
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of lathe operation and machining processes.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precision in work.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues with machinery or production processes.
- Mathematical Skills: Proficient in basic math to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
- Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety practices and regulations in a manufacturing environment.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining is a plus.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in machining or manufacturing is preferred.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in machining or CNC operation can be beneficial.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with CNC machines and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
