Senior Specialist - SAP-SAP ABAP Gateway Odata

Job Description

As the Senior Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving technical solutions and mentoring teams. Your expertise in ABAP, SAP Gateway, and OData services will be key to the successful delivery of backend integration projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and development, leveraging your leadership skills to guide and inspire your colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SAP backend integration solutions using ABAP and SAP Gateway technologies.
• Lead the development and implementation of OData services, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, providing technical expertise and leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices and standards throughout the development process.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, working closely with the development team.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and propose innovative solutions.
• Document and maintain technical documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on SAP Gateway and OData services.
• Proven leadership skills and experience in mentoring and guiding teams.
• Expertise in SAP Fiori integrations and UI development is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is advantageous.
• Certifications in SAP ABAP or SAP Gateway technologies are a plus.
