Responsibilities

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in Django to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure backend services using Python and Django.
• Lead the development of key modules and provide guidance to junior developers.
• Architect APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code following best practices.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
• Perform code reviews, mentor team members, and enforce coding standards.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
• Ensure data security and compliance with best practices.
• Participate in system architecture and design decisions.
  
  

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 - 11 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Atleast 4+ years of experience with Django framework.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, ORM, and Django architecture.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container technologies.
• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  
  

• Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Exposure to front-end technologies like React, Vue, or Angular.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and tools like Celery or RabbitMQ.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical blogs.
