The Presales System Engineer plays a critical role in the sales process, working closely with the sales team and potential customers to understand their technical needs and propose effective solutions. Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to assess and identify customer requirements accurately.
  • Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients.
  • Understand clients' business needs to recommend tailored solutions effectively.
  • Prepare and present detailed technical proposals and responses to RFPs.
  • Coordinate closely with product management to relay customer feedback and insights.
  • Assist in the design and architecture of the solution that meets customer needs.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision makers in client organizations.
  • Provide post-sale support to ensure smooth implementation of technical solutions.
  • Continuously update knowledge on technological advancements and product updates.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks which could impact client satisfaction.
  • Travel to client sites as required for meetings and presentations.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to position product strengths in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Minimum of three years experience in a presales or technical support role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of customer relationship management and sales processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical solutions for diverse audiences effectively.
  • Experience with network infrastructure, cloud solutions, or software development.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, as required by client engagements and presentations.
