Job Description

The Marketing Assistant is a vital role within our dynamic marketing team, contributing to the successful implementation of marketing strategies across multiple platforms. This position involves a mix of creativity, administration, and communication, requiring a detail-oriented individual with a passion for marketing and a desire to grow professionally. The Marketing Assistant will work closely with the marketing and sales teams to support various campaigns, helping to enhance brand presence, increase market share, and drive customer engagement. They will be responsible for maintaining the marketing calendar, coordinating promotional activities, analyzing market trends, and assisting with the development of marketing materials. Through their efforts, the Marketing Assistant will play a critical part in expanding our reach and enhancing customer experience.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Coordinate and schedule advertising and promotional activities according to the marketing plan.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer needs for campaign optimization.
  • Prepare, format, and edit a range of documents and marketing materials.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns to management.
  • Maintain marketing databases and ensure they are consistently updated with fresh information.
  • Support digital marketing efforts including social media, email marketing, and website management.
  • Liaise with external agencies and vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Assist in the organization and execution of promotional events and trade shows.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure alignment of efforts and effective lead generation.
  • Manage and maintain promotional inventory and materials for marketing events.
  • Contribute to team brainstorming sessions and creative meetings to generate new ideas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a marketing or administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for the role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and marketing software applications.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with diverse individuals.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and social media platforms is advantageous.
