An Ecommerce Operations Executive (B2C) is an integral part of the online retail team, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce channel. This role requires a dynamic and detail-oriented individual who understands the nuances of online retailing and is adept at managing logistics, customer service, order fulfillment, and platform management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be tech-savvy, and have experience with e-commerce platforms and technologies. They should be able to work cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, and IT departments to ensure seamless e-commerce operations and an excellent customer experience. The Ecommerce Operations Executive will also be responsible for monitoring sales performance, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices aimed at improving operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Their goal is to develop and maintain a streamlined operation that contributes positively to the company’s growth and customer loyalty.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire order process from order placement to delivery and resolution.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure stock availability and reduce overstocking.
  • Coordinate with logistics partners to facilitate timely and cost-effective shipping.
  • Maintain and update product listings on the e-commerce platform regularly.
  • Monitor sales performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to handle inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Work with marketing to implement promotions and optimize product visibility.
  • Analyze customer feedback to make informed decisions on product offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations concerning online retail operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required.
  • Proven experience in B2C e-commerce operations in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
