Role Summary: The Palo Alto Network Security Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of network security solutions using Palo Alto Networks technologies. This includes firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and other security appliances. Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and security appliances.
• Monitor and manage network security infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and security issues.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams to design secure network architectures.
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients.
• Document configurations, procedures, and network diagrams.
• Participate in incident response and forensic investigations. Required Skills & Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience with Palo Alto Networks products.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.).
• Experience with VPNs, VLANs, NAT, and firewall policies.
• Familiarity with Cisco or HP networking equipment is a plus.
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Certifications:
• PCNSE (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer)
• CCNP or equivalent networking certification
