Job Description

• A global project manager is a cross-functional leader role.
• Your primary mission is to secure the execution of the projects you are responsible of, according to the project delivery model. To do so you will have a project team including R&D, Operations, Purchasing, PSD, … representants supporting you.
• Your responsibilities are to secure the project deliveries according to the define scope, budget and time plan ; to report the status of the project ; to prepare and to document the gate passages ; to identify, monitor and inform on potential risks and deviations ; if issues occurred, to propose a mitigation plan and if needed to propose a project revision for approval.
• Communication is the key for such a role: Communication within your project team as well as towards the project governance forum.
• If some projects are mostly locally managed, some are involving team members on several sites, countries and require a global alignment.
• Finaly you are joining a global organization including team members on 3 sites, soon 4 and you are expected to seek support from other team members as well as to provide support to others.
  
  

Educational Requirements

• Project Management experience of around 4 to 6 Years in Construction / Mining Equipment industry.
• PMP certification is an added advantage.
• M.E / M. Tech / B.E. / B. Tech degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from reputed institutions
  
  

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully managing complex, multi- disciplinary projects from concept to first product delivery.
• Demonstrated success in leading project teams and delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, etc.
• Experience working in electrification is a plus.
• Experience as manager is a plus.
