Roles & Responsibility

• Work on a platform for monitoring, logging, and orchestration of container applications.
• Development and implement platform components to support containers, micro services.
• Present technical solutions, capabilities, considerations, and features in business terms
• Perform heath check and troubleshoot issues.
• Work with VMware GSS and ensure resolution to the issues reported in Tanzu setup.
• Experience deploying to and orchestrating containers (VMware Tanzu, Kubernetes, etc.) Docker,
• Experience in configuration management tool such as Ansible Chef
• Experience building, updating, and managing Docker Images
• Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipelines in a globally distributed environment using Git Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker registry, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of with micro-services.
• Deploying and managing micro-services using container orchestration platforms
• Building and updating CI/CD pipelines. Experience of Jenkins or other CI tools.
• Knowledge of developing applications in Java, J2EE, Spring
• Scripting skills e.g. Bash, Python for automation, reporting
• Building solutions for monitoring, logging, security, and scalability of applications
• Experience of working with Active Directory. LDAP, DNS, DHCP, Firewall
• To work in a 24/7 support environment
• Should bring innovation in the platform.
• Should ensure that cloud eco system is being optimally utilized.
• Should keep check on overprovisioning commitment ratios.
• Should ensure that key features of cloud and containerization are utilized.
• Should work with existing vendor team, directly under Bank’s team and DGM.
• Perform additional duties as determined by business needs and as directed by bank.
