About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Engineer to join the enterprise sales team of our client. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling software solutions to mid-market and enterprise clients, successfully managing long and complex sales cycles, and building strong, lasting relationships with decision-makers across various levels of an organization. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence revenue growth while working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and convert high-value B2B enterprise leads into paying customers.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, product demonstrations, proposal creation, negotiations, and deal closures.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CIOs, IT heads, operations leaders, and procurement teams.
  • Understand client challenges and position the product as the right solution by applying ROI-based consultative selling approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to design and execute sales campaigns and establish continuous feedback loops.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system and deliver reliable sales forecasts.
  • Stay informed about product developments, emerging industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and webinars, as required.


Required Qualifications

  • 3โ€“5 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in the enterprise or mid-market segments.
  • Exposure to CMMS, ERP, asset management, or operational technologies is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience selling to industries such as manufacturing, logistics, or utilities is essential.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience with long and complex sales cycles that involve multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (such as Salesforce or HubSpot) and sales automation platforms.
  • Technical aptitude to understand product architecture, workflows, and system integrations.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a high-paced business environment.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA is an added advantage.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge or prior use of structured sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger.
