The Startup India Initiative is committed to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among college students throughout India. Focused on guiding student founders from idea validation to product launch, the initiative provides hands-on workshops, access to proprietary startup management software, and one-on-one mentorship from industry professionals. Students receive end-to-end support for building Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and opportunities to pitch to investors and alumni networks. Our mission is to help students transition from ambition to action, building the future of Indias startup ecosystem.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Regional Sales Manager. The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing and implementing regional sales strategies, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. Additional tasks include conducting market analysis, overseeing sales operations, and mentoring a team of sales representatives. The role requires a strong focus on achieving sales targets and expanding market presence within the assigned region.

Qualifications

  • Strong sales acumen and proven experience in driving sales growth
  • Experience in developing and implementing effective sales strategies
  • Excellent relationship management and communication skills
  • Ability to conduct market analysis and generate insights
  • Experience in managing and mentoring sales teams
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Experience in the startup ecosystem or related industry is advantageous
