Responsibilities

Provide expert advice on environmental regulations and consent requirements to clients, ensuring understanding of compliance obligations.

• Liaise with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and community groups to promote transparency and collaboration throughout the consent process.
• Develop and implement strategies for effective stakeholder engagement and public consultation.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and prepare comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations.
• Mentor and lead junior consultants, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional development.
• Monitor and stay updated on changes in UK environmental legislation, policies, and market trends, and advise clients accordingly.
• Contribute to proposal writing & client presentation
  
  
  

• Minimum of [10-12] years of experience in environmental consents, planning, or a related role, with a proven track record of project success.
• In-depth knowledge of UK environmental legislation, regulations, and best practices relevant to consents and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data and prepare clear reports.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience managing project teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Chartered Environmentalist - IEMA) are an asset.
