Job Description
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience leading a data engineering team with final technical sign-off responsibility
- Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and SQL
- Proficient in Python
- Understanding of data architecture, ETL pipelines, and methodologies
- Familiarity with agile practices
- Preferred: Experience with dbt, AWS pipeline tools, and data modelling/statistics
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data engineers
- Drive execution of data projects aligned with business goals
- Design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines
- Ensure high standards of data integrity and quality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions
- Develop and maintain data models for analytics and ML use cases
- Conduct exploratory data analysis
- Identify and implement data process improvements
- Stay updated on latest data engineering trends and best practices
