Compliance Officer - NPS

Job Description:-

PPFAS National Pension Fund is looking to hire a Company Secretary – Compliance Officer to support its corporate governance, statutory, and regulatory compliance functions. The role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to the Companies Act, PFRDA regulations, POP License requirements, and other applicable regulatory frameworks, while working closely with the Board, senior management, regulators, auditors, and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:-

• To ensure the Pension Fund Manager operates within the framework of applicable laws, regulations, and governance standards. The role combines statutory responsibilities under the Companies Act with regulatory compliance obligations under pension fund regulations- POP License, ensuring transparency, accountability, and ethical conduct. Further, kindly find the below responsibilities :
• Ensure timely filing of returns, reports, and disclosures with regulators (e.g., NPST, CRAs, Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority - PFRDA).
• Advise the Board and senior management on corporate governance practices and compliance with the Companies Act, PFRDA.
• Monitor adherence to pension fund regulations- POP License, investment guidelines, and reporting standards.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, regulators, and inspection authorities.
• To manage Investor Grievances and ensure timely resolution.
  
  

• Effective interpersonal and Ability to influence decision-making and foster compliance culture.
• Ability to work well within a team and individually.
• Ability to work long hours when needed.
• Well versed with PFRDA Regulations on POP License and NPST Guidelines
• Root cause analysis
• Experience of working in Pension Fund Manager

• Qualification:- CS with relevant experience. LLB (Optional)
• Total Work Experience:- Minimum 1-3 years
