The Company


Metuzi.ai (https://www.metuzi.ai/) helps brands build meaningful customer journeys using a mix of AI tools, behavioural science, and sharp execution. We’re outcome-obsessed, MarTech-literate, and deeply allergic to spammy marketing.


The Role

Chief of Staff at Metuzi.ai isn’t an EA gig. It’s a force-multiplier role for the founder and the company- thinking layer + execution engine in one human. If “strategy” for you means decks without delivery, skip this. If “execution” means tasks without ownership, also skip this. This is about turning first-principles thinking into shipped reality across product, partnerships, hiring, GTM, ops, with AI as leverage, not theatre. No faltu shining here.


Why This Role Exists

Marketing is broken. AI is noisy. Orgs are bloated. Metuzi.ai is fixing that by combining real marketing brains with real AI muscle to maximise Customer Lifetime Value. The Chief of Staff makes that machine hum. Consumer-backward, brand-sensitive, outcome-first (we can add more such empty phrases). But seriously no “efficient shouting.” Meaningful work, measurable outcomes. Simple hai.


What Youll Own

  • Founder multiplier
  • Anticipate, prioritise, and clear the runway. Protect focus. Kill distractions. Keep the main thing the main thing.
  • Strategic runway
  • Turn founder intent into company priorities, plans, operating rhythms, and shipped outcomes across quarters. Fewer (actually none) OKRs, more observable wins.
  • Company operating system
  • Build the cadence, business rhythms, pipeline/ops hygiene, risk radar, and “fire to fix” loops that stick. Actually I also didnt understand this “fire to fix” phrase… AI kuch bhi likhta hai.
  • Product + AI leverage
  • Partner on product thinking, from problem discovery to shipping “feels like magic, works like math” features (Javed saab was here) Use AI to think faster, test sharper, and scale smarter.
  • Internal comms
  • Turn the noise into signal- clean updates, crisp metrics, real blockers, real asks (err… why do we need internal comms in a team of less than 9 people?
  • Measure what matters
  • Define the KPI spine for revenue, repeat, retention, and engagement. Build dashboards that drive action, not screenshots. (screenshots?? 😵‍💫)


What Great Looks Like Here

  • Thinks consumer-backward, not calendar-forward.
  • Can go from whiteboard to workflow to win fast.
  • Writes clearly, decides cleanly, ships relentlessly. (Javed was here as well)
  • Uses AI as an amplifier: research, synthesis, planning, experiments, automation
  • Doesn’t need a brief to start or a meeting to move.
  • Loves constraints. Hates complexity theatre. (kuch bhi bakwaas)
  • Can disagree like a pro and align like a leader. (WTF wrote ‘leader’ here?)


Must-Haves

  • Evidence of end-to-end ownership: a program, pod, product, or P&L taken from zero-ish to scale. Show the before/after and the decisions that mattered.
  • Fluency in AI-as-tooling: prompting, chaining, using off-the-shelf + custom stacks to get 10x leverage.
  • Comfortable with data: crisp metrics and causality thinking is a must.
  • Writes like a human, thinks like a systems designer, acts like an operator. Lai bhaari!
  • Some basic work experience. We are NOT taking freshers in this role. 👽


Nice-to-Haves (Not Deal-Breakers)

  • Lifecycle marketing, retention experience.
  • Built/ran a founder’s office or played Chief of Staff before.
  • Early-stage zero-to-one experience in MarTech, AI, or consumer brands.
  • Experience setting up operating cadences, compounding rituals, and decision logs.


The Work Environment

  • In-person biased (Mumbai). Some WFH for deep work. High-candor, zero-politics.
  • Lean team. High surface area. Real autonomy. Real accountability.
  • Backed by Netcore Incubation Labs—small, fast, lethal, with grown-up infrastructure.


Compensation

  • Fair to start, meaningful upside as we scale. Ownership matters. Outcomes matter more.


Red Flags (Don’t Apply If…)

  • “Strategy” means slides, not systems.
  • “Ownership” means tasks, not outcomes.
  • You need permission to move or hand-holding to think.
  • You want big-team safety over small-team impact.
  • “Leadership role” nahi hai. We have no leaders at Metuzi.ai. 🫥


One Last Thing

This role isn’t about calendar coordination (once again). This is about building an AI-powered marketing company that actually respects the customer, the brand, and the result. If that fires you up, let’s go fix broken stuff.
