Associate Vendor Manager Amazon Now

The Associate Vendor Manager is responsible for business operations by working closely with internal and external stakeholders. Handling day to day sourcing escalations, driving market benchmark on sourcing, tracking and reporting of daily Vendor fill rates, business reports. Driving continuous improvement in catalog quality and process excellence. Key duties include, daily business Sourcing, resolution of vendor disputes, Quality defects, Vendor performance monitoring, and implementation of seasonal initiatives.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day sourcing escalations and vendor coordination

Resolve operational issues with vendors and internal teams in real-time

Track and report daily fill rates, inventory levels, and business metrics

Maintain accurate and timely business reporting to stakeholders

Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and quality teams on operational needs

Vendor Management & Performance

Monitor vendor performance against defined KPIs (on-time delivery, quality, fill rate, defect rates)

Drive performance improvement through continuous stakeholder engagement

Facilitate resolution of vendor-related issues and conflicts

Support vendor allocation and capacity planning

Market & Sourcing Excellence

Conduct market benchmarking on sourcing strategies and vendor capabilities

Identify cost optimization and efficiency opportunities

Recommend sourcing improvements based on market analysis and competitive landscape

Support vendor selection and onboarding processes

Requirements

2-3 years of experience in vendor management, sourcing, supply chain, or operations

Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Proficiency in Excel and business reporting tools

Familiarity with Produce/Fresh category preferred

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement

Bachelor's degree

Reporting & Analysis

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly business reports
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) across assigned categories
  • Provide actionable insights to support decision-making
  • Maintain vendor performance dashboards and compliance tracking

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of negotiations and vendor management experience
