Coveo Full Stack Developer

Position Overview

This role is seeking someone with 6–8 years of experience to lead hands-on development, modernization, and governance of enterprise search and digital experience platforms. Collaborating directly with onshore architects, the candidate will design reusable components, build REST/GraphQL and Node.js/TypeScript integrations, fine-tune search relevance and taxonomy, and establish best practices across the engineering lifecycle. The ideal profile combines deep expertise in enterprise search tools like Coveo (or alternatives like Elasticsearch, Algolia, or Azure AI Search) with CMS/DXP familiarity (such as AEM or Sitecore) and a proven track record of mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• 1. Design and implement solutions on Coveo and comparable enterprise search and digital experience platforms.
• 2. Lead development of reusable components, integrations, accelerators, and application programming interface-driven patterns that support scalable platform adoption.
• 3. Define and apply content architecture, metadata, taxonomy, search relevance, and search performance practices across implementations.
• 4. Support platform governance through technical reviews, architecture reviews, release processes, and adherence to security, compliance, and performance standards.
• 5. Mentor developers, create onboarding and reference materials, and drive improvements in automation, testing, deployment, and developer experience.
  
  

• 1. 6–8 years of experience in enterprise digital experience platforms, enterprise search platforms, or both
• 2. Experience designing or implementing solutions on Coveo or a comparable enterprise search or digital experience platform
• 3. Experience building integrations using Representational State Transfer (REST) application programming interfaces, GraphQL, JavaScript Object Notation (JSON), Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• 4. Experience with search relevance tuning, search analytics, metadata strategy, taxonomy design, or search performance optimization
• 5. Experience leading platform implementation, modernization, or technical debt reduction initiatives
• 6. Experience mentoring technical team members and supporting globally distributed teams
