Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience working directly on the Salesforce platform in a functional or business analysis capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience leading the functional workstream on at least 3 full-lifecycle Salesforce implementations.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in at least two of the following, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Revenue Cloud, or Field Service.
  • Strong declarative configuration skills, particularly with Salesforce Flow, including Screen, Record-Triggered, and Scheduled Flows.
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, sharing architecture, and governor/platform limits.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery, using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Copado.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence presenting to executive audiences.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator, plus at least one of Sales Cloud Consultant or Service Cloud Consultant.
  • Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Business Analyst certification.
  • Consulting or systems-integrator background with multi-client exposure.
  • Industry depth in Healthcare & Life Sciences.
  • Working knowledge of integration patterns and middleware, including MuleSoft, Boomi, REST, and SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps, sandbox strategy, and release management.
  • Exposure to Data Cloud, Agentforce, Revenue Cloud, or other current Salesforce products.
  • Understanding of relevant compliance requirements, including GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX, as they affect CRM design.
  • Basic ability to read Apex or SOQL sufficiently to collaborate credibly with developers.
  • Ability to connect Salesforce capabilities to measurable business outcomes and ROI.
  • Ability to choose the simplest sustainable design and avoid unnecessary customization.
  • Ability to independently handle scope discussions, competing priorities, and difficult stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to drive workstreams to completion with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
  • Strong ability to explain technical trade-offs clearly to non-technical audiences.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements-gathering workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process-mapping sessions with business and IT teams.
  • Analyze current-state (as-is) business processes and design optimized future-state (to-be) processes on Salesforce.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend configuration-first solutions, escalating to custom development only when justified.
  • Produce solution design documents, data models, and integration requirement specifications.
  • Configure and support Salesforce capabilities including objects, fields, record types, page layouts, Lightning App Builder, Dynamic Forms, validation rules, Flows, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.
  • Design and implement role hierarchies, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, and other security and access controls.
  • Partner with developers, architects, and integration teams to define requirements for Apex, LWC, and API-based integrations.
  • Manage data migration requirements, including mapping, cleansing rules, deduplication strategies, and validation.
  • Support release planning, sprint ceremonies, backlog grooming, and UAT coordination.
  • Define test scenarios and scripts, lead UAT with business users, and manage defect triage through closure.
  • Deliver end-user and administrator training and create job aids, runbooks, and process documentation.
  • Drive change management and user adoption initiatives following go-live.
  • Provide hypercare support and continuous-improvement recommendations after deployment.
  • Act as the primary functional point of contact for client stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Mentor junior consultants and business analysts and review their deliverables for quality and consistency.
  • Contribute to pre-sales activities, including solution demos, effort estimation, statements of work, and proposal content.
  • Contribute to internal accelerators, reusable assets, and practice-level best practices.
