Senior PMO specialist

We are looking for a driven, organized, and experienced PMO Specialist to join the Project Management Office at Software Finder. This role supports the effective operation of the PMO by helping establish and maintain project delivery, project management processes, governance practices, reporting standards, operations. This is a collaborative and hands-on position for someone who understands the importance of these processes, can help develop and implement them, and ensures they remain practical, adopted, and operational.

The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience in PMO/Project Management or a similar project delivery environment. They should have a good understanding of project management practices, strong communication skills, good organizational awareness, good interpersonal skills, have apt business literacy, are driven and have the ability to take responsibility for assigned work and follow through with pace and consistency.

The individual will work closely with PMO Head, PMO team, company teams and stakeholders to support and ensure effective project/process execution and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of PMO strategies, standards, frameworks, and operating practices.
• Support the development, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of processes, templates, and standard operating procedures.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, improve, or automate existing processes.
• Support the implementation of project management principles to monitor project performance, risks, issues and dependencies. Help ensure projects have clear objectives, scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and ownership.
• Contribute to improving project visibility, accountability, and delivery.
• Prepare and maintain project dashboards, reports, and updates for management and relevant stakeholders.
• Work constructively with others to resolve issues, maintain alignment, and support project execution.
• Help ensure resource planning information is accurate, up to date, and useful for decision-making.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with teams, management, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure expectations, responsibilities, decisions, and action items are clearly communicated.
• Apply sound project management and PMO principles to assigned responsibilities.
  
  

Requirements

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in PMO, project management, project coordination, or a similar project delivery environment.
• Prior experience supporting or working within a PMO function, project governance/management environment, or comparable operational role.
• Good understanding of project management principles, PMO practices, and governance.
• Good knowledge of PMP / project management methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with process development, implementation, and operational maintenance.
• Ability to work effectively within a team and support others where required.
• Strong verbal, written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and people communication skills, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively with different teams, stakeholders, and levels of management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
