  • Develop and maintain SOPs, policies, and operational frameworks to ensure consistency and accountability across functions.

  • Monitor operational performance, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements.

2. Delivery & Project Operations

  • Oversee project management practices, Agile processes, and sprint planning across game development teams.

  • Collaborate with team leads to monitor project progress, delivery timelines, resource allocation, and dependencies.

  • Manage oversight of game release schedules, ensuring clear ownership, delivery milestones, and release readiness.

  • Drive employee engagement, feedback, recognition, and retention initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.

  • Partner with team leads to address workforce challenges, improve employee experience, and identify organizational needs.

  • Lead internal communication and studio-wide events, celebrations, and culture-building initiatives.

4. Finance & Resource Management

  • Review monthly financial reports in coordination with the Finance team, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely resolution.

  • Monitor studio budgets, operational expenses, reimbursements, vendor payments, and subscriptions.

  • Prepare monthly financial and operational summaries for the Studio Head, maintaining accurate reporting and visibility into spending.

  • Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficient resource utilization.

5. Workplace & Administration

  • Oversee workplace operations, ensuring a well-maintained, organized, and productive office environment.

  • Manage office infrastructure, equipment, assets, procurement, vendor relationships, and administrative requirements.

  • Establish effective processes for workplace maintenance, asset management, and employee workspace readiness.

  • Drive improvements in workplace efficiency and overall employee experience.

6. Leadership Support & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with the Studio Head on operational priorities, strategic initiatives, and execution.

  • Coordinate leadership meetings, track key decisions and action items, and ensure timely follow-through on commitments.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between the studio and Game Districts shared HR, Finance, Recruitment, and Admin teams.

  • Provide leadership with regular operational updates, performance insights, and recommendations on emerging challenges.

7. Team Development & Process Ownership

  • Build and scale the studio operations function in line with organizational growth.

  • Identify operational resource requirements, define responsibilities, and establish clear accountability within the team.

  • Recruit, train, and manage operations team members while ensuring effective delegation and ownership of established processes.

What Success Looks Like

  • Studio operations function efficiently, with established processes and minimal day-to-day intervention from the Studio Head.

  • Core operational processes are documented, implemented, and consistently followed across relevant functions.

  • Project delivery and release schedules are effectively monitored, with risks identified and addressed proactively.

  • Employee lifecycle and engagement processes are managed consistently, contributing to a positive workplace culture.

  • Financial reporting is accurate, timely, and provides leadership with clear visibility into operational spending.

  • Workplace resources and administrative operations are managed efficiently.

  • Cross-functional coordination between the studio and shared services teams is seamless and effective.

  • A structured operations team is established with clearly defined responsibilities and accountability.
