About the Role – Manual QA Engineer:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, youll test web and mobile applications to ensure quality, usability, and performance. You’ll work closely with developers to identify bugs, create test cases, and ensure smooth product releases.

Typical Tasks:

• Write and execute test cases based on functional requirements


• Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications


• Identify, log, and track bugs using bug tracking tools


• Conduct regression, functional, UI, and usability testing


• Validate bug fixes and perform re-testing


• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility


• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues


• Participate in daily stand-ups and QA review meetings


• Review and analyze system specifications for completeness and accuracy


• Provide clear and detailed feedback on user experience and performance issues

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in manual testing (web and mobile applications)


• Strong understanding of software testing concepts and QA methodologies


• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test plans


• Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis)


• Familiarity with different types of testing: functional, regression, UI/UX, and usability


• Basic understanding of SDLC and Agile development processes


• Good communication and collaboration skills


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
