Job Description
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.
- Conduct due diligence to identify potential legal risks in transactions.
- Provide legal advice and support to internal stakeholders during M&A processes.
- Collaborate with external counsel and regulatory authorities as required.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management.
- Monitor legal developments relevant to the automotive industry and advise accordingly.
- Support other legal matters within the department as needed.
- A degree in Law from a recognised institution
- 8-12 years of post qualification experience
- Experience in handling mergers and acquisitions, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
