What You’ll Do

Data Engineering & Platform Delivery

• Lead execution of the Data Engineering roadmap, including application modernization, warehouse model coalescence, and platform rationalization.
• Drive engineering acceleration through AI‑enabled automation, performance tuning, and scalable pipeline design.
• Ensure the data platform meets enterprise standards for reliability, scalability, and performance.
  
  

Advanced Analytics, AI and Generative AI

• Oversee and Build AI/GenAI‑driven analytics capabilities that enhance HR and Finance decision‑making.
• Define KPIs, analytics/AI roadmaps, and data‑product requirements in partnership with Finance, HR, BU and Strategy teams.
  
  

Cross‑Functional Execution & Governance

• Manage a multi‑stream delivery portfolio with predictable, high‑quality releases.
• Partner with Product, Architecture, Finance, HR and BU leaders to maintain prioritization, risk transparency, and dependency alignment.
• Champion adoption of delivered data products and ensure measurable business value.
  
  

Data Quality, Standards & SDLC Excellence

• Establish and enforce data engineering standards including data quality SLAs, modeling patterns, Coalesce and best UI practices, and automated validation frameworks.
• Drive consistent, auditable, low‑defect releases across the data ecosystem.
  
  

Team Leadership & Talent Development

• Lead and develop global data engineering and analytics teams across multiple levels.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow analysts, engineers, and contractors into high‑performing contributors.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  
  

Operational Readiness & Supportability

• Guide the transition to steady‑state operations with mature runbooks, incident‑reduction initiatives, and scalable support processes.
• Ensure the platform is resilient, supportable, and optimized for cost and performance.

Technical Skills

• Cloud & Data Platforms: Snowflake, Snowflake AI, GCP Suite
• Programming & Cloud Data Engineering: Python, SQL, data modeling, pipeline optimization
• Databases & Tools: SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio
• BI & Visualization: Power BI
• Engineering & Delivery: JIRA, Coalesce/Omelek, Angular, automated testing/validation frameworks
  
  

Experience & Leadership

• 10+ years leading global Advanced Business Analytics and/or Cloud Data Engineering teams.
• Strong experience and understanding with Finance and HR data relationships and domain knowledge
• Proven success delivering multi‑stream, cross‑functional data engineering programs.
• Experience with AI‑driven engineering acceleration and modern data‑stack standardization.
• Strong track record improving data quality, release predictability, and platform performance.
• Ability to mentor technical talent and influence architectural direction.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and cross‑functional communication skills.
