About The Role

We are looking for a talented candidate to join the India office of DESRI, i.e., DESRI India Private Limited, based in Hyderabad, India. The candidate will be a part of Financial Systems team and will regularly interact with the U.S. and Hyderabad-based teams, as well as external parties. The candidate will be a part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team responsible for supporting DESRI’s portfolio of wind, solar, and storage projects within a dynamic environment that values collaboration, thoughtful problem solving, and attention to detail.

What Youll Do

In this role, you’ll act as the primary point of contact for managing the post-implementation environment of the Workday Financials module and similar financial platforms, as well as drive implementation of future modules. You’ll be involved in maintaining the seamless functioning of the system by managing overall security, ensuring proper integration of existing modules, researching and implementing improvements to existing business processes, assessing impact of version updates, building and enhancing reports, and keeping the system up to date by managing the day-to-day, weekly and ad-hoc updates to existing process.

You will work independently with technical/functional direction from business leads (Accounting, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Asset Management, Information Management, IT, Consultants etc.) to gather data, understand the workflow, establish control in related business processes and document the same based on requirement of various stakeholders.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate should have three to six years of experience with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• They should be a Workday Subject Matter Expert (SME) having a basic understanding of accounting principles and/or SOX, and involved in implementation of Workday Financials SKUs
• They should have exposure as a Workday super user across the Finance Module for functional areas in Financial Management, Security Administration, Consolidations, Financial Accounting, Business Assets, Banking and Settlement, Revenue Management, Customer Accounts, Supplier Accounts and Expenses, etc.
• They should have in-depth knowledge of Report Writing, Account Posting Rules, Business Processes, Custom validations, etc.
• Candidates with end-to-end implementation experience of Financials module, Integrations, Workday Pro certification, and knowledge of Workiva / WDesk would have an added advantage
