Keka is a SaaS HRMS platform, helping companies manage the entire employee lifecycle efficiently– hiring, onboarding, time & attendance, payroll, performance, and learning in one integrated system.
We have been in the market for 10+ years and currently serve around ten thousand clients in India, US and GCC.
About The Role
Keka is expanding its US roundtable dinner series, an executive-only format used to generate high-quality pipeline with CHROs, VP HR, and HR Directors at mid-market and enterprise IT/IT Services/SaaS/Technology companies (50 – 5,000 employees).
We're hiring two dedicated Outbound SDRs whose entire mandate is filling that room and then converting the relationships they build into pipeline.
You Will Own The Full Arc
Building the target account list
Driving registrations through cold calling/email/LinkedIn
Confirming attendance and critically working every attendee post-event until they've had a meeting with an AE and become a qualified opportunity.
This is not a generic top-of-funnel SDR role; it is a specialized, quota-carrying, event-conversion role.
You'll report into the Marketing org (alongside our existing SDR pod) but work in lockstep with our AE team, since your job doesn't end at "registered" it ends at "opportunity created."
What You'll Own
Pre-Event: Build & Fill the Room
Build and prioritize the target account list per city/event (50–5,000 employee IT/IT Services/SaaS/Tech companies), pulling from ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, and intent signals (G2, Bombora) surfaced by Marketing
Own direct outreach (cold calls, personalized email, LinkedIn) to the top 100 target accounts per city, this is the single highest-converting registration channel in our playbook
Layer outreach on top of Marketing's email cadence (save-the-date → invite → reminder → FOMO) rather than duplicating it, you are the high-touch complement to the automated sequence
Personally confirm attendance in the days before the event and manage waitlist/backfill to protect show rate
Event Day
Support check-in, badge/attendee tracking, and real-time no-show replacement calls where needed
Capture live notes on attendee context (role, priorities, competitive tech stack) to hand to AEs
Post-Event: Convert to Pipeline
Follow up with every attendee within 24–48 hours of the event
Book qualified meetings between attendees and the assigned AE
Own the contact through the nurture window until it either becomes a scheduled AE meeting or is disqualified, you do not hand off and disappear
Log all activity, registration source, and attendee status accurately in HubSpot so event ROI and attribution are traceable end-to-end
Reporting & Iteration
Track and report registrations, show rate, and meeting-to-opportunity conversion per event
Feed learnings (what messaging/persona/industry converts best) back to Marketing to sharpen the next event's targeting
What We're Looking For
1–3 years of SDR/BDR experience, ideally with a meaningful cold-calling component (not purely inbound/chat-based)
Experience selling into or prospecting HR, People Ops, or IT decision-makers is a strong plus (HRTech, HR Services, or adjacent B2B SaaS)
Comfortable owning a full-cycle micro-funnel, you're not just booking a meeting and moving on; you're accountable for what happens to that contact after the event
Working knowledge of a modern sales stack: HubSpot or Salesforce, plus prospecting/enrichment tools like Apollo, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Strong verbal communication, you'll be inviting CHROs and VP HRs to an executive dinner, which requires more polish than a standard SaaS cold call
Comfortable working US business hours/time zones and coordinating with a distributed team
Organized and detail-oriented, event logistics + CRM hygiene + follow-up cadences require someone who doesn't let things fall through the cracks
A team-first mentality, you'll work closely with the existing SDR pod, AEs, and Marketing, and attribution here is genuinely collaborative (event-sourced pipeline is jointly owned)
Nice to have
Prior experience supporting field marketing, dinners, roundtables, or executive events
