JD EWM - 8+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Functional Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring deep functional knowledge of SAP EWM and proven experience in implementing and supporting EWM solutions in complex, integrated environments. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep business process understanding, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP EWM implementations, enhancements, and support activities.
• Analyze and map business requirements, processes, and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy client needs.
• Design and configure SAP EWM processes including inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, RF integration, physical inventory, and labor management.
• Integrate SAP EWM with SAP ERP (ECC / S/4HANA), transportation management (TM), and other relevant modules.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Document functional designs, test scripts, and end-user training materials.
• Collaborate with ABAP developers for RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) objects.
• Act as a key liaison between the business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvements of the SAP EWM solution.
• Conduct training sessions and support knowledge transfer to business users and internal support teams.
• Participate in project planning, estimation, and status reporting.
  
  

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on SAP EWM experience with at least 2 full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong understanding of SAP EWM processes including:
• Inbound/outbound delivery processing
• Putaway and picking strategies
• Warehouse Order creation and optimization
• Slotting/rearrangement
• Physical inventory processes
• RF framework and mobile data entry
• Integration with material flow systems (MFS)
• Experience with S/4HANA Embedded EWM or Decentralized EWM is highly preferred.
• Experience working in manufacturing, retail, or third-party logistics environments is a plus.
• Ability to write functional specifications for custom development and enhancements.
