Job Description

• Prepare patients for dental examinations and treatments.
• Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing instruments and managing suction.
• Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment according to infection-control procedures.
• Take dental X-rays where certified and legally permitted.
• Prepare treatment rooms before patient appointments.
• Ensure all required dental instruments, materials, and supplies are available.
• Maintain proper inventory of dental supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and arrange for ordering of required materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas.
• Follow infection-control procedures and workplace safety standards.
