What You’ll Do -

The Cloud Sustainment Engineering Manager will lead a global team supporting GCP, Azure, and other platforms in a 24/5 environment. This role ensures seamless transition of cloud projects into operations and oversees governance, security, and incident resolution across IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS. Responsibilities include managing day-to-day operations, staffing, escalations, and continuous service improvement. The manager will drive cloud service delivery while fostering collaboration across infrastructure, network, and platform teams.

Youll report to Senior Manager, Systems Software Engineering.

During a Typical Day, You’ll

• Manage Cloud Operations/SRE for governance, administration, compliance, and FinOps across IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS.
• Oversee delivery of cloud services for the Engage business unit with a focus on security and automation.
• Develop automation for cloud operations using tools like Terraform, Python, PowerShell, and Ansible.
• Handle event and incident management, ensuring resolution within defined SLAs.
• Act as an escalation point and coordinate across NOC, operations, and engineering teams during outages.
• Maintain and update documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct training sessions, and support team performance management.
  
  
  

What You Bring To The Role

• Associate degree or higher, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5–7 years of hands-on experience in Cloud and Infrastructure roles.
• At least 2 years of experience in people management.
• Strong IaaS and DevOps expertise across GCP, Azure, and/or AWS.
• Proficiency with automation tools like Git, Terraform, Jenkins, and Ansible.
• Solid knowledge of networking, Microsoft technologies, O365, AD, and related infrastructure.
• Familiarity with on-prem systems like Linux, VMware, Nutanix, Cohesity, and Cisco UCS.
