About the Role:

We seek a seasoned Technical Lead with deep expertise in Java development and cloud technologies (AWS or Azure). The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills, the ability to lead and mentor development teams, and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical delivery of enterprise-level full-stack applications.
• Architect, design, and develop solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js.
• Deploy and manage applications in AWS or Azure environments with deep expertise in AWS services (e.g., EC2, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, S3, RDS).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, QA, DevOps and UX/UI teams, to ensure successful delivery.
• Guide, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers (including performance reviews and career development).
• Establish and enforce best practices for code quality, unit testing, CI/CD automation, and agile development methodologies.
• Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews.
  
  

Required Skills:

• 8+ years of experience in software development with Java.
• Skilled in Full Stack JavaScript/TypeScript: Advanced skills in front and backend frameworks like React, Node.js, and Express.
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or people management role.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Proficient with both SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and API security (OAuth2, JWT).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
• Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Scrum/Agile methodologies.
  
  

Requirements

WHO YOU ARE 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in backend development, enterprise IT consulting, or integration projects.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Integration.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP API development, XML, XSD, WSDL, Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (GitHub, Bamboo, Bitbucket, CI/CD pipelines).
• Experience working in Airline, Travel, or E-commerce industries (preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive technical decisions.
