Cyber Security Tech Specialist

About Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Tech Specialist to lead the development and implementation of robust security solutions across cloud, networks, and applications. This role requires deep expertise in cybersecurity technologies, solution architecture, and project leadership, with a strong ability to modernize legacy systems and mentor teams. The ideal candidate will bring both technical excellence and leadership acumen to strengthen our cybersecurity ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of cybersecurity solutions with expertise in Cloud-Firewalls, SIEM/SOAR, and Network & Security Operations.
• Drive architectural and design decisions to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of solutions.
• Define project specifications, set technical direction, and oversee execution from design to deployment.
• Mentor junior engineers, delegate tasks effectively, and provide constructive feedback.
• Evaluate risks, resolve technical conflicts, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
• Continuously research emerging technologies, sharing best practices to drive innovation.
• Modernize and enhance legacy systems by introducing scalable improvements.
• Collaborate in Agile environments to ensure cross-functional alignment and efficient delivery.
  
  

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Development, or related field (Degree in Cybersecurity is an advantage).
• 7+ years of industry experience in software development and/or cybersecurity.
• Strong foundation in networking and cybersecurity domains.
• Proficiency in PHP, Python, and AWS.
• Strong technical design and solution architecture expertise.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and inspire team members.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  
  

• Knowledge of Node.js and Go.
• Prior experience in start-ups or fast-paced environments.
• Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
