Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing Engagement Manager / AVP – Insurance Analytics to join our growing Analytics practice. This role blends hands-on technical expertise with strategic client engagement capabilities. The ideal candidate will have deep domain understanding of the Insurance industry (preferably P&C), strong analytical acumen and the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights for stakeholders.

As a key member of the Insurance Analytics team, you will lead analytical engagements, manage senior client relationships, collaborate across internal teams and drive value through data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted analytics partner to Insurance clients, providing data-backed insights to address business challenges and identify growth opportunities.
  • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of analytics solutions – from scoping to execution and storytelling of results.
  • Design and develop dashboards, models and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAS, SQL and Python.
  • Interpret and visualize complex data to generate actionable insights for business functions such as Claims, Underwriting, Pricing and Operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, BI developers, consulting teams and client stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on emerging tools, platforms and innovations in the analytics and data science space; bring them to practice where relevant.
  • Develop proposals, PoVs and participate in pre-sales conversations as needed.
  • Mentor junior analysts and contribute to capability development within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Analytics and Business Intelligence, with strong exposure to the Insurance domain (P&C preferred).
  • Hands-on expertise in tools such as SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, Python and familiarity with modern cloud platforms / tech stacks.
  • Strong business acumen with ability to connect analytics to real-world business problems and articulate impact in client conversations.
  • Proven experience in client engagement, stakeholder management and leading complex analytics engagements.
  • Educational qualifications: BE/BTech with an MBA from a reputed institute (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, presentation and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, global and matrixed environment.

Preferred Attributes

  • Certifications in analytics, data science, or insurance (e.g., CPCU, AINS) are a plus.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP is advantageous.
  • Experience working with large Insurance carriers in the US, UK, or APAC markets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience managing relationships and influencing at the delivery level.
