About The Role
We are seeking a visionary and institution-building leader to serve as the Principal of ENCADEMY, a CSR-driven training academy established and operated by Encardio Rite. ENCADEMY is India’s first focused initiative dedicated to developing skilled professionals in geotechnical instrumentation, sensors, and infrastructure monitoring technologies for critical sectors such as tunnels, dams, metros, mining, and large civil infrastructure projects.
As Principal, you will be the academic, administrative, and operational head of ENCADEMY, responsible for end-to-end functioning of the institute, including academic excellence, faculty leadership, administration, infrastructure readiness, and overall governance. This role requires prior experience in running an educational institution or academy and the ability to balance academic leadership with operational and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Academic Leadership & Vision
Provide strategic academic leadership and define the long-term vision of ENCADEMY in alignment with Encardio Rite’s CSR objectives.
Establish and uphold high standards of teaching, learning, assessment, and discipline.
Act as the academic and institutional face of ENCADEMY for industry, academia, and external stakeholders.
Institution & Administration Management
Lead and manage the overall operations of the institute, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.
Oversee administration, documentation, student records, academic calendars, and compliance.
Manage logistics, infrastructure readiness, classrooms, labs, equipment availability, and training facilities.
Coordinate with internal teams for procurement, maintenance, safety, and infrastructure support.
Ensure a structured, well-governed, and professionally run academic environment.
Curriculum Design & Delivery
Design, approve, and continuously refine the 6-month training program (3 months classroom + 3 months practical/field exposure).
Ensure curriculum relevance to real-world infrastructure monitoring needs and emerging technologies.
Integrate case studies, live demonstrations, site exposure, and project-based learning.
Faculty Development & Management
Lead, mentor, and evaluate faculty members and trainers.
Build a strong faculty culture focused on teaching excellence, discipline, and learner engagement.
Identify training needs for faculty and ensure continuous upskilling and academic consistency.
Practical & Field Training Oversight
Oversee hands-on training involving instruments, sensors, dataloggers, and monitoring systems.
Ensure safe, structured, and effective execution of laboratory sessions and field exposure.
Coordinate with Encardio Rite’s project teams for real-world learning opportunities.
Student Mentorship & Evaluation
Ensure robust trainee evaluation through assessments, practical demonstrations, and final projects.
Guide trainees in professional conduct, industry readiness, and ethical practices.
Monitor learning outcomes and trainee satisfaction to ensure program impact.
Institution Building & Governance
Establish academic processes, SOPs, and quality benchmarks for ENCADEMY.
Contribute to building ENCADEMY’s knowledge repository, training documentation, and best practices.
Support CSR reporting through measurable academic and skill-development outcomes.
Collaboration & Representation
Collaborate with Encardio Rite leadership, CSR teams, and technical experts.
Engage guest faculty, industry experts, and domain specialists.
Represent ENCADEMY at academic forums, industry discussions, and stakeholder meetings.
Key Deliverables
End-to-end successful functioning of ENCADEMY as an academic institution.
High-quality learning outcomes and job-ready trainees.
Well-managed faculty, administration, and infrastructure.
A robust, scalable curriculum aligned with industry needs.
Establishment of ENCADEMY as a credible, industry-recognized training institution.
Qualifications
B.Tech / M.Tech in Civil, Geotechnical, Instrumentation, Electronics, or related disciplines
OR
MSc (Physics / Electronics) with relevant industry exposure.
Prior experience as a Principal / Head of Polytechnic, ITI, Technical Institute, or Training Academy is highly preferred.
Proven experience in running or managing an academic institution, training center, or academy.
Academic & Technical Skills
Strong understanding of geotechnical and structural health monitoring instrumentation.
Ability to translate complex technical concepts into structured learning programs.
Familiarity with industry standards, installation practices, and monitoring workflows.
