Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments and deliveries.
• Organize warehouse space and maintain effective storage and retrieval systems.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery trucks efficiently and safely.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records and manage stock levels.
• Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and appropriately.
• Ensure that goods are stored in the correct location, according to inventory systems.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to prioritize and schedule tasks effectively.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and account for discrepancies.
• Maintain clean and tidy warehouse premises to comply with safety standards.
• Assist with the packaging and labeling of goods for dispatch as required.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to fulfill customer orders accurately and timely.
• Report any damaged, lost, or missing goods immediately to the warehouse manager.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification is essential.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklifts with appropriate certification.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing inventory systems.
• Physical ability to lift heavy items and perform manual tasks for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and management.
