IT Business Analyst (225-612)

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of our technology team, bridging the gap between IT and the business to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to stakeholders. Your role will require strong analytical skills to support the design and implementation of robust IT solutions that align with business needs. You will work closely with project managers, IT teams, and business users to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and design specifications. By leveraging your knowledge in business analysis and IT systems, your insights will directly contribute to enhancing business efficiency and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify improvement opportunities and optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements.
• Develop comprehensive project documentation, including use cases and business process models.
• Facilitate communication between IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Evaluate IT systems and business models to recommend technology-based solutions.
• Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable insights for risk mitigation plans.
• Create and maintain detailed project roadmaps and timelines for stakeholder review.
• Test functionalities of new systems to ensure they meet business requirements.
• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders for system enhancements and improvements.
• Monitor project progress and adjust plans accordingly to meet timelines and objectives.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, clearly conveying findings and recommendations.
• Stay informed of emerging IT trends and integrate relevant innovations into strategic planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within an IT or technology setting.
• Strong understanding of software development and IT systems implementation.
• Exceptional analytical skills with an ability to evaluate complex data sets.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in business analysis methodologies and tools such as UML, BPMN, etc.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
