HR Generalist

About the role

Own recruiting, onboarding, people operations and office administration as an HR Generalist at Moring in Chennai (full-time). You will build the people and office systems of a growing company, working with finance partners and the founding team.

What you will do

• Talent acquisition: source, screen and hire across engineering, product and go-to-market teams, owning the candidate experience.

• Onboarding and people operations: design onboarding for new hires and handle day-to-day HR, including policies, payroll inputs, leave and benefits.

• Office and administration: manage facilities, vendors, supplies and travel for the Chennai office.

• Finance support: help with expense management, invoicing and basic finance operations alongside finance partners.

• Culture and employer brand: shape how candidates and employees experience Moring, online and in person.

• Systems and tooling: choose HR, ops and admin tools and build lightweight processes that scale with the company.

What we are looking for

• 4 to 5 years of HR or people-operations experience, ideally at a high-growth SaaS company or startup.

• Comfortable working across HR, office operations, admin and finance.

• A builder's mindset: you spot gaps and set up systems without being asked.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High ownership, a bias for action and comfort with ambiguity.

• Based in Chennai or willing to relocate there.
