YOUR TASKS

• Design, develop, high-quality models using CAD and other 3D modeling tools.
• Coordinate with project managers to understand the requirements and specifications for new designs.
• Develop prototypes and observe testing stages in order to validate fixture design and rectify issues as necessary.
• Complete documentation such as design notes and project reports, ensuring proper record keeping and traceability.
• Liaise with manufacturing teams during the construction phase of projects to ensure design integrity and functionality.
• Perform regular fixture analysis and reports to identify malfunctioning, inefficient or unsafe parts and propose enhancements.
• Collaborate with engineers and contractors throughout the design process, providing expertise in fixture design.
• Publish and maintain fixture design specifications, creating a comprehensive database of models and templates.
• Ensure all fixture designs comply with industry safety standards and regulations.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to achieve project goals in a timely manner and within budget constraints.
• Suggest new technologies and processes that may improve fixture design processes and overall efficiency.
  
  
  

Your Qualifications

• Diploma/ Post Diploma, Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Tool Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in fixture design or similar role, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in CAD and 3D modeling software, such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar.
• Strong mathematical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to create accurate, high-quality work.
• Knowledge of materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
• Awareness of engineering and industry safety standards and regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to various stakeholders.
• Good project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and delivering within tight deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to collaborate and work effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to provide a portfolio of previous works that display technical skills and creativity.
