Job Description

• Equipment & Trailer Maintenance
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of trailers, engines, transmissions, and structural components.
• Perform pre-operational checks and identify malfunctions or issues during vehicle operation.
• Support minor repairs and coordinate with the maintenance team to reduce downtime.
• Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Consumables & Fuel Management
• Manage inventory of consumables such as diesel, lubricants, and spares.
• Maintain reorder levels to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Oversee fuel dispensing and unloading in compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Inventory & Documentation
• Handle spares and consumables through proper approval and issuance processes.
• Maintain stock registers, indents, and gate passes as per procedures.
• Conduct reconciliation between physical inventory and records.
• Prepare and share daily reports with maintenance staff and yard teams.
• Operations & Coordination
• Coordinate with the movement team for empty and loaded container movements within and outside the facility.
• Provide timely updates and reports to yard staff and management.
• Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, procedures, and safety standards.
• Follow instructions from the maintenance staff for smooth day-to-day operations.
