Administer OFR plans and processes as part of the OFR pricing & RFQ/tender management strategy to support the commercial strategy in line with business objectives, corporate guidelines and policies

In this RFQ Specialist Position

• Work is closely supervised
• Apply broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education
• Problems faced are not typically difficult or complex
• Support the execution of plans and processes to implement the OFR pricing strategy
• Support in responding to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner
• Administer tasks and activities while ensuring effective resource management and optimizing productivity for the day-to-day operations
• Support the timely monitoring and accurate updating of local tariffs
• Draft and submit relevant documents for tenders
• Maintain databases with specific information to enable quick responses to specific network queries
• Answer queries, prepare information for customers to maintain close business relationship with existing clients and enhance customer retention
• Consolidate, record information and handle day-to-day shipment documentation
• Understand recent developments of new solutions, services, lane and traffic development
• May provide functional guidance, advice or training to less experienced positions
• Resolve recurring issues, and suggest modifications to OFR pricing methods focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency

• Support and interact primarily with colleagues of own sub-function
• Develop a network of contacts to build up relationships and strengthen the organizational, product and market knowledge
• Explain facts, policies and practices related to job area

• Education:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification
• Experience: less than 2 years
