As a member of the SAP BODS development team, the Senior Analyst assists with technical integration projects, by developing code and by supporting management in the integration process. He/She evaluates, designs, and implements the next generation of integration and middleware solutions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4 years of experience in Business Intelligence using SAP Business Objects BI.
  • 4 years of experience in Analysis, Design and Development of various Data Warehousing /Data Migration projects using SAP BODS/Datasphere.
  • 3+ years of experience developing functional/technical specifications.
  • Experience working with SAP BW HANA system as a Target by using SAP BODS/DataSphere.
  • Extensively worked on BODS/BODI Designer Components-Jobs, Workflows, Data Flows, Formats, Data Store and Scripts
  • Involved in defining the validation rules and bind those rules to against the specific columns.
  • Extensively used ETL methodology for Data Extraction, transformations, loading using Data Integrator.
  • Experience using REST web services as a source.
  • Extensively worked on BODS Administration Tasks like Repository Configuration, Job Server configuration, Local Repository configuration, Central Repository configuration, Job Scheduling, Monitoring.
  • Provide production support, monitoring, and maintenance support.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex production problems related to source data, source files, infrastructure, etc.
  • Provide design review and code review with development team to ensure compliance with architectural and development standards by working effectively with service vendors and IT service functions.
  • Create and update application documentation, technical procedures, and user guides.
  • Follow all documented architecture, design & deployment processes to ensure compliance with policies.
  • Strong ability to analyze business requirements and transform into technical design and system solutions.

Additional Qualifications

  • Project management experience and PMI certification are a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and detail oriented.
  • Self-directed, ability to work individually and lead projects to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
